  • Every 6 weeks I will be offering a 2 hour recorded or live class ‘Use your strength and Restore to optimum function’ which be a combination of moving and Restorative Yoga.

About the 30 min Simply Strength Classes

The body mind connection is not a new age phenomenon, it is real. This class has been designed to help you to improve physical and mental strength and resilience. Making your body strong doesn’t need to be exhausting, or leaving you feeling depleted. But, there does need to be challenge, working to fatigue and a commitment to doing it over and over again.

Brand new for 2023, this class aims to provide you with 30 minute sessions using the Yoga with a focus on strength, plus somatic and intuitive movement to build strength and resilience - little and often.

Some benefits of this are to:

  • Protect your joints

  • Improve core stabilisation

  • Build up your glutes

  • Train your abs

  • Sustain good posture

You will find a mix of Yoga asana and strength training to challenge your body and what you are capable of without depleting your resources.

Anyone can join, modifications and adaptations will be made throughout for all levels.


Use your strength & Restore to Optimum Function

  • A 2 hour recorded class

  • Offered at the end of each 6 week block of Simply Strength Zoom classes

This will be a 2 hour recorded class, available on Friday 15th December and will be an opportunity to find out how your Yoga practice has benefited from the strength training taught in the 6 weeks of Simply Strength Zoom classes. The 2 hour session will be a mix of Yoga combined with Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra.

Who is this for?

Anyone who wants to improve themselves and not succumb to the ‘accepted’ process of aging.

Can people with injuries join?

It depends. Please email me to discuss prior to joining up.

How much Yoga will there be?

This is a Yoga class we will be moving towards a number of poses each week. We will be working on a specific group of muscles/body area over the 6 weeks of classes. Using exercises to strengthen the parts of the body to achieve the pose in a completely different way than just ‘going through the motions’. Strengthening in this way builds awareness and sensitivity to how postures feel. Its really different to just making the shapes.

Can I get the recording?

The Zoom recording link available for 7 days after the class.

Will I get an email reminder?

No. I am no longer using a booking system.

Can I have a refund if I don’t attend?

This class is non-refundable.

Why do I need to register via Zoom prior to each class?

So that I know you are fit and well, and to remind you that you are responsible for your own safety for any exercises performed. Please leave an extra minute for this.

What equipment will I need?

You will need comfortable clothing, a yoga mat, a resistance band and you may need a chair.

Is only 30 mins a week enough to make a difference?

No. You’ll need to put some work in between classes to repeat the exercises.
