  • Quirky accommodation with luxury extras.

    There is a range of accommodations available to suit all budgets and needs, from single occupancy to up to 4 sharing. Each Yurt or Bell Tent has a double bed, and additonal single beds depending on occupancy. The Shepherds Huts and Grain Silos will be offered for single occupancy accomodations as they are more cosy in size.

  • Unique and with style.

    The ten permanent dwelling available all have solid wooden flooring, electrics for lighting and phone charging and wooden burning stoves for the colder months. Each home comes with bedding, blankets and towels.

  • Yurts and Bell Tents nestled in the woodland.

    There is a variety of different accommodations dotted around the site, some nestled in beautiful wooded areas and some a little more out in the open. As you will be greeted by the morning sun, please remember to bring an eye mask with you.

  • A beautiful peaceful place to be.

    This venue is in the ideal location for travel, 40 minutes from Blackmore and just off the A12 but in the middle of stunning and peaceful countryside. The private site is secure and the is plenty to explore there.

  • Be under the stars.

    Spend time getting truly back to nature by being truly in it! Eat meals outside, socialise around the fire pit and sit in the wood heated hot tub under the stars.

  • Explore the surrounding countryside.

    There will be some free time to explore the surrounding countryside without needed to get back into your car, or you can simple find a quiet place to read your book in peace.

  • A covered outside space.

    A covered outside space will offer the opportunity to practice or socialise or enjoy a quiet lay down out in the open.

  • The Yoga Space.

    The Yoga Space is a hard floored marquee that can be heated during colder weather with wood burning stoves or fully opened up and ventilated in the warmer months. Indoor seating for mealtimes will also be available inside in the event of the great British weather!

  • The facilities.

    The facilities are shared between the accommodations with separated toilet cubicles and separated shower cubicles and some outdoor sinks. There is a kitchen which will be available for storing any food or drinks you might wish to bring along with you. All meals are included but you may wish to bring extra treats and snacks.

  • The Hot Tub.

    The hot tub can fit 4-5 people at a time and will be available on the Friday and Saturday evenings of the retreat for you to relax in the woods, under the moonlight.

  • WC's.

    Each individual WC offers privacy and a clean and tidy environment to do your business in!

  • Showers.

    The lovely showers are hot, clean and tidy and each shower is privately enclosed.

Everything you need to know…

  • Wendy will be teaching all of the Yoga classes over the weekend retreat and these will be a mix of energising morning practices, gentle Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Breathing and Nidra. All the classes will be optional and you will be free to do as much or as little as you choose. You will need to bring your own Yoga mat and as much equipment as you have. The Yoga Space will be set up on arrival and your spot will be left there for the weekend. You will be welcome to enjoy self practice or time for relaxing between taught sessions.

    The retreat is suitable for all body types, and all energy levels. You do not need to be an advanced practitioner to be able to join.

  • All meals with be vegetarian, please inform me of dietary requirements on booking. soft drinks, tea and coffee will be provided throughout the weekend and you are welcome to bring your own alcohol with you.

  • Please bring your own yoga mat and as much equipment as you have with you including straps, blocks, bricks, bolsters and meditation cushions.

    Below is a list of essential equipment requirements;

    • A yoga mat.

    • 3 firm blankets or large bath towels. Fluffy blankets do not offer a great deal of support for rolling into props but are fine for covering the body or creating a soft under body base.

    • 2 pillows of the same shape and size.

    • Eye mask or covering for the eyes.

  • The accommodations are allocated on a first come first serve basis as all the accommodation types are limited.

    There are ten permanent dwellings which are a mix of Bell Tents, Yurts a Shepherds Hut and Grain Silo. They are all dotted around the site within a couple of minutes of each other and the toilet block. If you have a requirement to be close by to the toilet block please state this when booking.

  • All accommodations are limited and on a first come first serve basis and allocated depending on party size.

    Single Occupancy accommodation £600.

    2 Sharing Bell Tent/Yurt £500 for the double bed, £450 for the single (prices are per person).

    3 Sharing Bell Tent/Yurt £350 for the double bed, £300 each single (prices are per person).

    4 Sharing Bell Tent/Yurt £275 for the double bed, £225 each single (prices are per person).

    All accommodation has shared used of the toilets and showers.

  • A non-refundable deposit of £160 is required to secure your place, payable from June 2023.

    In the unlikely event that I am unable to offer you the shared accommodation you’ve requested I will return your deposit. This is the only exception where a deposit will be returned.

  • The private site is located 40 minutes from Blackmore near to Marks Tey and is easily accessible from the A12.

    The nearest train station is Marks Tey.

    If you’re interested in a car share please state this when booking.

  • Yes! This retreat is perfect for people who don’t know anyone else as there will be a real community feel to the weekend and lots of friendly faces.

    If you want to share an accommodation but don’t know anyone else this is not a problem, just let me know your preferred accommodation and I’ll get back to you with options. In the unlikely event that I cannot offer you the shared accommodation you’ve requested, I will return your deposit to you.
